Brand & Product
Rain of May is a small-batch, slow-fashion label designed in Savannah, GA. We create limited-edition dresses and separates with an emphasis on texture, movement, and effortless femininity—pieces meant to feel one-of-a-kind, never mass-produced.
Every collection is made in intentionally limited quantities a few times a year. We design with care, source special fabrics, and avoid over-production—so your piece feels special, timeless, and worth keeping for seasons to come.
Each style begins as a sketch in our Savannah studio and comes to life in collaboration with artisan partners overseas. We work closely with small factories that share our commitment to quality craftsmanship and ethical production.
We prioritize natural fibers, textured cottons, jacquards, and chiffons chosen for both their beauty and longevity. While not every fabric is certified organic, our small-batch approach reduces waste and overstock.
Yes! Our flowing maxi dresses, midi slips, and soft-textured minis are often chosen as wedding-guest dresses, garden-party looks, or vacation-ready occasion wear.
Fit, Size, & Styling
Most dresses run true to size with an easy, relaxed fit and thoughtful details like smocked backs, adjustable straps, or tie waists for flexible sizing. Please see each product description for more accurate info on the fit of the garment you are interested in.
You’ll find a Size & Fit guide on each product page. If you’re between sizes, we suggest sizing up for more length or room through the bust.
Absolutely. Pair a textured maxi with boots and a chunky cardigan for day, or dress it up with strappy heels and delicate jewelry for evening events.
Most of our dresses feature adjustable straps, smocked backs, and full linings where needed. Check the detailed description of each product for fabric notes and lining info.
Many of our maxi dresses feature adjustable straps and elastic waists that help fit a variety of heights. Our size guide includes garment lengths to help you find your best fit.
